Medical Description
Healin Solu liquid for skin application is used to help treat or prevent infection in cuts, abrasions, wounds and other breaks in the skin. It contains a combination of metronidazole and povidone iodine. The antiseptic component, povidone iodine, slowly releases iodine that kills or limits the growth of microorganisms, while the metronidazole component adds antimicrobial action against susceptible organisms. This product is for external use on the skin only. Apply it to the affected area as prescribed and keep it away from the eyes, mouth and other body cavities.
