Medical Description
Grenil tablets are used to treat migraines and may also be used for other medical conditions, such as fever and pain associated with nausea and vomiting. A migraine is a type of headache characterized by varying degrees of pain, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.
The active ingredients in Grenil tablets are domperidone and paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen). This medication works by blocking the release of the chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation related to the sensation of vomiting.
It is important to take Grenil with meals to minimize the risk of stomach upset and to follow your doctor's prescribed instructions regarding dosage and duration of treatment. Be sure to inform your doctor about all other medical conditions and medications you are currently taking.
Dry mouth, diarrhoea, sleepiness, tiredness, and skin rashes can be side effects of this medicine in some individuals. If side effects bother you, please inform your doctor. Grenil tablets should not be used in children below 5 years of age.
