Medical Description

Glimy M 2 Forte tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine used to lower blood sugar levels when diet and exercise are not enough. It is used to treat type 2 diabetes. It contains a combination of the active ingredients glimepiride and metformin.

Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor, preferably after meals. Glimy M 2 Forte tablet should not be used in children under 18 years old. Do not stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor, as this can cause your blood sugar levels to rise and lead to complications. Glycomet Gp 2 Forte tablet Gluconorm G 2 Forte tablet Gemer Ds 2 tablet Zoryl M 2 Forte tablet Amaryl M Forte 2 tablet are a few more tablets with a combination of glimepiride and metformin.

Side effects of this medicine can include upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects go away on their own after a short time. If they get worse, see a doctor or go to the nearest hospital.

Contraindications of GLIMY M2 FORTE STRIP OF 10 TABLETS

  • If you are allergic to metformin, glimepiride or any of the ingredient of Glimy M Forte Tablet.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you have serious kidney failure or liver failure.
  • If you have any metabolic acidosis (too much acid in the body fluids) like lactic acidosis, diabetic ketoacidosis or diabetic pre-coma.
  • If you have dehydration, severe infections, shock and injections containing iodine.
  • If you have had heart or lung failure, the recent incidence of heart attack and shock.
  • If you are an alcoholic.
