Giftan 25mg Tab is classified as an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist (ARA) and is used for lowering high blood pressure. The generic name of this medicine is losartan.

How Does It Work?
The composition of Giftan 25mg Tab eases the tension in the blood vessels by obstructing the binding of angiotensin-II (a substance responsible for the narrowing of blood vessels which causes an elevation in blood pressure) to its receptors, further reducing the high blood pressure.

This medicine should be taken as per your doctor's advice. Do not make changes in the dosage or frequency of Giftan 25mg Tab. Make sure you are having one glass of water every time you take it.

Interactions with other medicines
