It helps control high blood sugar levels that are not managed by diet, exercise, and a single medication alone. Gemer 2 tablets contain a combination of glimepiride and metformin.
This medication should be taken as directed by your doctor, following the prescribed doses and duration. For optimal results, combine it with regular exercise and a healthy diet. While taking this medicine, you may experience symptoms of low blood sugar, such as dizziness, giddiness, and sweating. It is advisable to keep sugar candies, juice, or chocolate nearby.

How Does It Work?
- Gemer 2 tablet helps to control blood sugar to a greater extent than metformin or glimepiride alone.
- Glimepiride lowers the blood sugar level increases the release of insulin hormone from the pancreas.
- Insulin supplies sugar (glucose) from the blood into the cells.
- Metformin decreases the absorption in the intestine and the production of sugar by the liver.
- Both of these components increases the insulin sensitivity of the body (which allows the cells of the body to use blood glucose more, reducing blood sugar).
