Forcox Tablet 6 Description

Forcox tablets to prevent and treat tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is an infection caused by bacteria that affects the lungs in most cases. It can also cause disease in the brain, bones, and abdominal or

gans. The Forcox tablet prevents the growth of tuberculosis-causing bacteria and kills them. Forcox tablets belong to the group of medicines called anti-tuberculous drugs. It is a fixed-dose combination of four ingredients: Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol. This medicine can eradicate the tuberculous bacteria from the body and cure the infection completely. In addition, fixed-dose combinations of these four medicines facilitate the intake of adequate doses of all the constituent medicines, make it easy to complete the course of treatment and reduce the chance of developing resistance to these drugs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

^

Q: How will I benefit if I take Forcox instead of separate tablets for individual components in it?

A: You shall find it easier to follow the schedule and dosage regimen of the treatment if you choose to take Forcox over individual separate tablets. This is because it lessens the number of pills you have to take every day. It also reduces the cost of the treatment and chances of drug resistance.

Q: How long shall it take to get relief from my symptoms after starting Forcox?

A: You may start getting relief from your symptoms within a few weeks after starting the treatment. However, it takes much longer for the disease to be cured entirely. You should not stop taking medicine even if you feel better. Doing this may lead to the recurrence of the symptoms.

Q: How will I know that the treatment with Forcox is working?

A: You shall start feeling improvement in your general condition within a few weeks after starting the treatment. There will be an improvement in appetite, weight gain, lessening of cough or bone pain.

Q: How will I be sure that I am fully cured of tuberculosis at the end of my treatment course?

A: Your doctor shall advise you to go through some tests at the end of the treatment to make sure that the germs causing tuberculosis have been completely eradicated from the body. He may ask you to continue the treatment for a few weeks more if the tests show that there are still tuberculosis germs in your body.
