Fludamax 50Mg Injection

• If you have a severe allergy to fludarabine or any of its ingredients.
• If you have severe kidney problems.
• If you have a type of anemia caused by the body destroying red blood cells.
• During pregnancy, unless your doctor considers it necessary, as it may harm the unborn baby.
• Breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment.

• Bone marrow suppression leading to neutropenia (low white blood cell count), anemia, and thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)
• Severe immunosuppression and increased susceptibility to opportunistic infections
• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite
• Fatigue, asthenia (weakness), and fever
• Cough and upper respiratory tract infections

• Peripheral neuropathy (numbness, tingling, or weakness in the extremities)
• Edema, skin rash, and stomatitis (mouth sores)
• Visual disturbances
• Elevated liver enzymes and kidney function changes

• Severe, life-threatening opportunistic infections
• Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) or other autoimmune cytopenias
• Severe neurotoxicity (including confusion, agitation, seizures, peripheral neuropathy, coma, or blindness)
• Tumor lysis syndrome (metabolic imbalances due to rapid cancer cell breakdown)
• Secondary malignancies (long-term risk)

Other General Warnings

• You experience a fever, chills, or any signs of an infection, as prompt medical evaluation is critical due to suppressed immunity.
• You notice unusual pale skin, extreme fatigue, or dark urine, which can be signs of autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
• You develop neurological changes, such as confusion, agitation, weakness, or vision loss.
• You require a blood transfusion, as any blood products given during or after fludarabine therapy must be irradiated to prevent transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease.
• If you need a blood transfusion: Tell your doctor that you are receiving fludarabine, as irradiated blood products may be required during and after treatment to reduce the risk of a serious transfusion-related complication.
• If you have kidney problems: Tell your doctor, as kidney function affects how fludarabine is removed from the body, and your treatment may need to be adjusted.

• Fludamax injection is always prepared and administered by a trained healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion or injection in a hospital or clinic.
• Do not attempt to self-administer or prepare this medication at home.
• Stay well hydrated and follow all pre- and post-infusion instructions from your oncology care team.
• Keep all scheduled appointments for your treatment cycles, blood tests, and clinical evaluations.

• Hospital pharmacies and clinical staff handle storage of Fludamax injection vials strictly according to the product's storage instructions.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets in a secure medical environment.
• Clinical staff manage proper disposal of vials, infusion bags, and administration equipment following hospital biomedical waste protocols.

• Keep all scheduled blood test appointments so your doctor can monitor your blood cell counts.
• Report fever, chills, persistent cough, or other signs of infection immediately, as fludarabine can weaken the immune system.
• Tell your doctor if you notice unusual bruising, tiny red spots on the skin, or bleeding, which may indicate a low platelet count.
• Report confusion, severe headache, vision changes, numbness, or other new neurological symptoms immediately.
• Tell all your healthcare providers that you are receiving fludarabine before any medical procedure or blood transfusion, as special blood products may be required during and after treatment.

Overdose

Missed a Dose

• If you miss a scheduled infusion or injection appointment, contact your hospital or oncology clinic immediately to reschedule.
• Do not try to make up a missed session on your own, as your doctor will safely adjust your treatment schedule based on your blood counts and clinical recovery status.

• Fludamax injection is converted in the body into an active form that interferes with DNA production. It blocks key enzymes cancer cells need to copy and repair their DNA.
• This prevents abnormal lymphocytes from growing and multiplying, eventually causing these cancer cells to die.

Interactions with other medicines

• Avoid or discuss live vaccines with your doctor during and after treatment, as your severely suppressed immune system can increase the risk of serious infections.
• Concurrent use with pentostatin is not recommended because of the risk of severe and potentially fatal pulmonary toxicity.
• Tell your doctor about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements you take, especially medicines that weaken the immune system or reduce blood cell counts.
