Uses of Flecajol tablet • Used to treat AV nodal re-entrant tachycardia and certain fast heart rhythm problems linked with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome when other treatments have not worked. • Used for severe, symptomatic, and life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias when other medicines are ineffective or not tolerated. • Used to manage paroxysmal atrial arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and atrial tachycardia in patients with troublesome symptoms after rhythm conversion, when other treatments have failed, and there is a clear clinical need. • Should only be used after ruling out structural heart disease or poor left ventricular function due to the risk of worsening heart rhythm problems. ...
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to flecainide or any of the ingredients in Flecajol tablet.
- If you have heart failure or have had a heart attack and now have certain abnormal heart rhythms without symptoms.
- If you have long-standing atrial fibrillation and no attempt has been made to restore a normal heart rhythm.
- If you have weak heart pumping, shock due to heart problems, a very slow heartbeat, or very low blood pressure.
- If you are taking other Class I anti-arrhythmic medicines (similar heart rhythm medicines).
- If you have serious heart valve disease that affects blood flow.
