Fenak Plus is a pain-relieving medicine that can be used to alleviate headaches, body aches, backaches, joint pain, and toothache. It can also help to reduce swelling, pain, and stiffness in cases of arthritis and spondylitis. The active ingredients in Fenak Plus are diclofenac and paracetamol, which work by reducing the formation of certain chemicals responsible for pain, swelling, and inflammation. Before taking Fenak Plus, it is important to discuss with your doctor, especially if you have liver or kidney problems, blood clotting issues, asthma, any autoimmune disorders, or ulcers. The tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. It is also important to inform your doctor about any other medications, over-the-counter products, or herbal preparations you are taking before starting with tab Fenak Plus.

- If you are allergic to paracetamol, diclofenac or other ingredients of Fenak Plus tablet.
- If you have severe heart problems such as heart failure, high blood pressure or brain diseases.
- If you have liver and kidney disorder or dysfunction.
- If you experience asthma, skin rashes, swelling & allergies after taking aspirin or any other painkillers.
- If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers and bleeding or have an active ulcer.
- If you are pregnant, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.

- You have kidney or liver problems.
- If you are an elderly patient or taking diuretics or have kidney disorders, this medicine can increase the risk of kidney failure, then your doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.
- You are suffering from gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation) or Crohn's disease.
- You have asthma, as this medicine can worsen the same.
- You have an autoimmune disease called systemic lupus erythematosus.
- You are an alcoholic, as concomitant use of this medicine can damage the liver.
- You have disorders related to blood clotting.
- You suffer from skin rashes & lesions after taking this medicine.

Interactions with other medicines
- Other medicines containing Paracetamol component because there is an increased risk of liver damage.
- Fenak Plus tablet increases your risk of getting stomach ulcers or bleeding if taken along with steroidal medicines.
- Fenak Plus tablet increases the risk of bleeding if taken with blood thinners such as warfarin and coumarin.
- Increased risk of getting fits if you are taking this medicine with antibiotics like levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin.
- Some medicines can affect the way Fenak Plus tablet works, or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Especially if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for brain-related disorders.
