Fenak Plus Tablet

• If you are allergic to paracetamol, diclofenac or other ingredients of Fenak Plus tablet.
• If you have severe heart problems such as heart failure, high blood pressure or brain diseases.
• If you have liver and kidney disorder or dysfunction.
• If you experience asthma, skin rashes, swelling & allergies after taking aspirin or any other painkillers.
• If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers and bleeding or have an active ulcer.
• If you are pregnant, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney or liver problems.
• If you are an elderly patient or taking diuretics or have kidney disorders, this medicine can increase the risk of kidney failure, then your doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.
• You are suffering from gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation) or Crohn's disease.
• You have asthma, as this medicine can worsen the same.
• You have an autoimmune disease called systemic lupus erythematosus.
• You are an alcoholic, as concomitant use of this medicine can damage the liver.
• You have disorders related to blood clotting.
• You suffer from skin rashes & lesions after taking this medicine.

• Store Fenark Plus tablets in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Fenak Plus tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for relieving headaches, body aches, backaches, joint pain and toothache.
• It also helps in reducing swelling, pain and stiffness in the case of arthritis and spondylitis.
• Take it in the exact recommended dose. Do not exceed the stated dose. Taking more than the daily dose may cause serious liver problems or allergic reactions.
• This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 10 years of age.
• Before starting Fenak Plus tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, inform about your medical history.
• Do not take any other paracetamol-containing products while taking Fenak Plus tablet.
• If you have a history of ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, or you notice blood in your stools or vomit, talk to your doctor immediately.
• Tell your doctor if you have a history or have an alcohol addiction.

Interactions with other medicines

• Other medicines containing Paracetamol component because there is an increased risk of liver damage.
• Fenak Plus tablet increases your risk of getting stomach ulcers or bleeding if taken along with steroidal medicines.
• Fenak Plus tablet increases the risk of bleeding if taken with blood thinners such as warfarin and coumarin.
• Increased risk of getting fits if you are taking this medicine with antibiotics like levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin.
• Some medicines can affect the way Fenak Plus tablet works, or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for brain-related disorders.
