Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria multiply in the body, causing illness. The tablet contains Faropenem, an antibiotic that eliminates bacteria by preventing the formation of their cell wall, which is essential for their survival. It should be taken as prescribed by a doctor, who will determine the appropriate dosage based on the patient's medical condition.
- Possible side effects of Faronem ER Tablet may include nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and rash. These side effects typically resolve over time but if they persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
- Patients who are allergic to Faronem ER Tablet 6's or any other medications should inform their doctor. Additionally, individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have kidney problems, a family history of atopy, glucose-galactose malabsorption, Lapp lactase deficiency, or galactose intolerance should also inform their doctor before taking this medication.
- In some cases, Faronem ER Tablet may lead to vitamin K or vitamin B deficiency, particularly in older patients and those with poor oral intake. If symptoms such as easy bleeding, loss of appetite, tongue swelling, or stomatitis (mouth sores) are noticed, a doctor should be consulted.
