Medical Description
Eumosone-M cream contains a combination of Clobetasol and Miconazole. It is used to treat various types of skin infections. Eumosone m is meant for external application only and should be applied exactly as your doctor recommended. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Most of them are temporary, but if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.

- You are suffering from any liver problems.
- You experience an allergic skin reaction after using this medicine.
- You develop other infections or skin reactions after applying Eumosone-M cream.
- You are applying this medicine on a cut or broken skin or on a larger skin area.
- You should avoid getting any cream into your eyes, eyelids, nose, mouth, open wounds, etc. In case of such an exposure, you should wash the affected part thoroughly with water.
- You are also applying other topical medicines (cream, ointment, lotion, etc).
- You do not notice any improvement in your condition after applying this medicine for a week.

- If your eyes come into contact with this medicine, rinse them with clean water immediately.

How Does It Work?
- Eumosone-M cream works by the combined action of its components - Clobetasol and Miconazole.
- Clobetasol is a steroid, which works by blocking the production of certain chemical substances in the body (prostaglandins) which cause itching, swelling and redness.
- Miconazole is an antifungal agent, it stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting the formation of a fungal cell wall component.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Eumosone-M cream is applied externally on the skin, thus it is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally. However, it may interact with other topically applied creams, lotion and gel. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical gel or cream.
- Eumosone-M cream should be used with caution along with ritonavir (used in HIV infection), itraconazole (used to treat fungal infections), warfarin (blood thinner) as it may increase the risk of having side effects.
