Description

Estadep Plus tablet is used to treat comorbid depression and anxiety disorders. It contains clonazepam and escitalopram as active ingredients. Estadep Plus Tablet helps relax mood by lowering the exc

ess activity of nerves in the brain. It also has sedative effects that relieve anxiety and improve sleep. Depression is a mood disorder characterised by episodes of sadness, loss of interest, mood swings, hopelessness, etc. In contrast, anxiety is characterised by episodes of excessive, unrealistic worry and fear that can interfere with daily activities. Estadep Plus tablet should only be taken after a doctor’s consultation. The dose of the Estadep Plus tablet should be carefully monitored, as there are many side effects associated with this medicine, especially in older patients and persons with liver and kidney disorders.

  • As per CDSCO, the Estadep Plus tablet is used for the following cases:
  • Treatment of comorbid depression (depression associated with other disorders)
  • Treatment of anxiety disorder

  • Estadep Plus Tablet is contraindicated in the following cases:
  • If you are allergic to any active component of Estadep Plus tablet, i.e. Clonazepam, Escitalopram
  • If you are already taking Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs): linezolid, methylene blue, Selegiline, antipsychotic medicine-pimozide, anti-anxiety or sedative medications
  • If you are diagnosed with acute angle glaucoma (an eye condition that increases the fluid pressure in the eyes)
  • If you have a seizure disorder and taking antiepileptic (anti-seizure) medications
  • If you have liver or kidney disease
  • If you have respiratory issues
  • If you have a severe heart condition
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Take the Estadep Plus tablet as per the doctor’s prescription.
  • Take the medicine with or without food or as prescribed. In the case of any stomach illness, take it after meals.
