Endogest Oral/Vaginal/Rectal Capsule contains Progesterone, a natural female hormone. It is a hormonal pill, mainly used for abnormal uterine bleeding or irregular/absence of menstruation caused prim
arily due to hormonal imbalance in females. Endogest Oral/Vaginal/Rectal Capsule can also be used along with estrogen as a part of hormonal replacement therapy to prevent thickening of the uterus lining. Progesterone in Endogest Oral/Vaginal/Rectal Capsule will normalise the decreased female hormone and also the body functions. You should take this medicine as advised by your doctor for the prescribed duration, but at a fixed time to gain optimum benefit. The most common side effects of this medicine are stomach bloating, stomach pain, headache and breast tenderness. If these symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital or clinic. Taking this medicine for a longer period of time might cause increased risk of breast cancer, clots in blood vessels, heart disease in patients taking it.
