Description
tablet is used to treat nausea and vomiting associated with migraine. It contains two main ingredients: domperidone and paracetamol. Domperidone helps your stomach and intestines move food more effectively, preventing acid from flowing back up into the food pipe. Paracetamol helps reduce pain, fever, and inflammation by affecting certain chemicals in the body and the brain area that controls temperature.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you’re allergic to any of its ingredients, have liver or heart problems, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Certain conditions, like stomach bleeding, prolactinoma (a type of brain tumour), or serious infections, may make it unsafe to use. Also, tell your doctor about any other medicines you're taking, especially for heart issues, infections, or HIV, as they can interact with tablet.
Take this medicine as prescribed, usually with or without food, and at the same time each day. Swallow it whole with water. Common side effects may include diarrhoea, dry mouth, skin rash, weakness, or drowsiness. Some people may also experience allergic reactions or visual disturbances. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never double up.

Uses

Contraindications
- If you are allergic to domperidone, paracetamol or any other ingredients of the tablet.
- If you have a type of brain tumour that releases prolactin (prolactinoma).
- If you have stomach or intestinal bleeding, blockage, or a tear, this medicine may worsen these conditions.
- If you have moderate to severe liver problems.
- If you have heart problems, especially an irregular heartbeat, long QT syndrome, or low levels of potassium or magnesium.
- If you are taking other medicines that affect heart rhythm (QT-prolonging drugs), except for apomorphine.
- If you are taking strong medications that block the CYP3A4 enzyme (such as certain antifungals, antibiotics, or antivirals).

Talk to your doctor if
- You have severe liver or kidney disease or problems.
- You are taking any other medicines or products that contain paracetamol. Taking too much of the same can cause liver damage.
- You consume alcohol too often or are suffering from chronic malnutrition.
- You develop watery diarrhoea or fever and experience black stools after taking this medicine.
- You have a history of fractures or have osteoporosis or taking steroids.
- You experience a rash on your skin after exposure to the sun, stop your treatment and inform your doctor as soon as possible.
- You are on this medicine for a long time. Your blood magnesium levels may drop. Your doctor may perform regular tests for the same.
- You are taking this medicine for more than one year, then it may increase the chances of developing bone fractures.
- You have any medical conditions like stomach ulcers, cancer, electrolyte imbalance, heart problems, liver or kidney-related disorders, etc.
- You are taking medicines to treat infections, or you have HIV.

It is not advised to take tablet during pregnancy unless your doctor considers it essential after assessing the benefits over risks. If you are pregnant or think you may be or are planning for a baby, you should consult your doctor before starting this medicine.

A:
Components of tablet pass into the breast milk in small amounts; thus, consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding. After assessing the benefits and needs, your doctor may adjust the medication or recommend that you discontinue breastfeeding or closely monitor the baby.
Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed tablet tablet?
A:
It is advised not to drive or operate machines if you experience headache, dizziness, drowsiness and visual disturbances while taking tablet.
Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with tablet tablet?
A:
There are no interactions reported between this medicine and alcohol. However, alcohol is known to increase acidity and can make your acidity worse, thus you should avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with tablet.

Missed a Dose

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Domperidone increases the motility of the stomach and intestines, preventing acid from refluxing back into the food pipe and thereby reducing the likelihood of vomiting in migraine patients.
- Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins, which are responsible for fever, inflammation, and the sensation of pain. It also acts on the part of the brain that controls body temperature....
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Certain medicines can interfere with the action of tablet, or this tablet itself can affect the action of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Always inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, including all prescribed or non-prescribed herbal medicines, dietary supplements, as well as other treatments if you are taking them for any disorder....
- In particular, if you are taking medications for heart-related disorders, anti-HIV medications, antifungal medications such as ketoconazole, antibiotics like erythromycin, or anticoagulants like warfarin, etc....
- This medication is absorbed more quickly when taken with metoclopramide or domperidone.
- The absorption of this medication may be slower if taken with cholestyramine.
- Taking this medication regularly with blood thinners like warfarin can increase the risk of bleeding. Occasional use is usually safe.
- Taking tablet with the antibiotic flucloxacillin may rarely cause a serious blood problem, especially if you have other health risks.
- Your doctor may need to monitor you more closely if you’re taking these medicines together.
