Medical Description
suspension is a medicine used to treat indigestion, heartburn, and gas in both children and adults. It works by neutralising stomach acid and reducing bloating. Magnesium hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide are the active ingredients that balance stomach acid, while activated dimethicone helps to alleviate gas.
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to magnesium, aluminium, dimethicone, or any other ingredients in suspension. It is also not suitable for individuals with kidney problems, so please inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, and abdominal cramps. If you take too much, contact your doctor immediately. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; however, do not take two doses at once.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using suspension, as its safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not fully known. Always follow your doctor's advice regarding the use of this medication.
Store suspension in a cool, dry place, away from children and pets. Shake well before use, and always use a proper measuring tool to ensure the correct dose. Do not consume the medicine directly from the bottle.
