Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Phenylephrine works as a nasal decongestant by decreasing the swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal region. Hence, it improves the condition of nasal congestion and makes breathing easier.
- Guaifenesin and Bromhexine in Deletus P Syrup belong to the class of medicines called expectorants and mucolytics respectively. They work by thinning the phlegm/mucous in the throat and enabling them to be expelled out; thus, the cold, cough and any breathing difficulty are relieved.
