Medical Description

Cytoflu 500mg Bottle of 50 Tablets contains flucytosine as the active molecule. This medicine is used to treat severe fungal infections caused by Candida and/or Cryptococcus strains. Flucytosine kills fungal cells by inhibiting their protein and DNA synthesis. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine in children or during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. You may experience nausea, diarrhoea, dry mouth, headache, confusion, or weakness as a result of the side effect of this medicine. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice these effects persist or worsen or if you experience any other effects after consuming this tablet.
