Cymax tablet is an antibiotic combination used to treat certain bacterial and other susceptible infections of the lungs, ear, throat, stomach and urinary tract. It contains cefixime and ornidazole. Cefixime prevents susceptible bacteria from building a protective cell wall, while ornidazole damages the genetic material of susceptible bacteria and other microorganisms. Cymax tablet is taken by mouth with or after food as prescribed by your doctor, and the tablet should be swallowed whole with water.
