Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet is an anti-hypertensive medication. It contains a combination of perindopril and amlodipine as active substances. It is used for the management of high blood pressure. Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet should be taken in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. If pregnancy is detected during treatment with this medicine, discontinue the use of this medicine as soon as possible.

If you are allergic to perindopril, amlodipine, other ACE inhibitors, or any other ingredient of Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet.
If you have a history of swelling under the skin (angioedema) with or without the use of medicines called ACE inhibitors.
If you have diabetes and are taking a medicine that contains aliskiren.

You have kidney disorders.
You have diabetes.

Take Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Storage and disposal of COVERSYL AM 8/5 STRIP OF 10 TABLETS

Store Coversyl AM 8/5 tablet at 25°C in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
