Colicaid syrup is a paediatric medicine specially formulated for children. It is used for providing relief from flatulence (gas), abdominal pain, bloating, and infantile colic (abnormal crying or fussiness in a healthy child). Colicaid syrup contains a combination of simethicone, dill oil, and fennel oil as active substances. Simethicone expels trapped gas and relieves discomfort, while dill oil and fennel oil reduces spasm and increases intestinal motility. This medicine should be used in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Shake the bottle well before each use.
