Uses of Clodrel 75 MG
- Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
- Atherothrombosis leading to heart attack, stroke or death
- Recent heart attack or stroke
- Established peripheral arterial disease
- Prevention of atherothrombotic and thromboembolic events in atrial fibrillation
Contraindications of Clodrel 75 MG
- Allergic to the ingredients present in the Clodrel Tablets or clopidogrel bisulphate
- Active Bleeding like peptic ulcer or intracranial haemorrhage (bleeding withoin the skull)
- Severe liver impairment

Mode of Action of Clodrel 75 MG
How Does It Work?
Platelets are tiny structures in the blood that helps in blood clotting. Clopidogrel prevents this platelet activation and aggregation by binding to the active receptors on platelets.
Directions for Use of Clodrel 75 MG
- The tablets have to be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.
Interactions of Clodrel 75 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of clopidogrel with oral anticoagulants may increase the intensity of bleedings
- Concomitant use of clopidogrel and naproxen increases the chances of gastrointestinal blood loss
- Clopidogrel when taken along with Rifampicin, may increase the effect of clopidogrel and increases the risk of bleeding
- Concomitant use of clopidogrel and Omeprazole may decrease the efficiency of omeprazole
Storage and disposal of Clodrel 75 MG
Store Clodrel tablets at room temperature 30°C, protected from moisture. Store out of reach from children. Please do not use the medicine past its date of expiry printed on the package strip. Do not throw them in the household trash to dispose of the unused tablets. Instead, please ask your pharmacist for safe disposal practices....
Dosage of Clodrel 75 MG
Overdose
Please go to the emergency department closest to you in case of overdose. In addition, please carry the product package with you to provide the doctor treating you with the necessary details.
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose, please take it as soon as you realise it. Please skip the missed dose and take the next one if it is time for your next dose. Do not take two doses.
