Clobium 10 MG Description
Clobium 10 mg Tablet is a prescription medication. It belongs to the class of Benzodiazepine (also known as tranquillisers). It primarily treats epilepsy (a disorder that causes sudden and uncontrolled disruption in the electrical activity of the nerve cells in the brain). It is used to treat anxiety disorders (a mental illness associated with fear, anxiety, or excessive nervousness). The medicine is also effective in treating panic attacks and relieving sleeping disorders. Clobium 10 mg tablets are prescribed in combination with other medications to treat schizophrenia (a mental illness that impacts the ability of a person to feel, think, or behave clearly). It works by decreasing the irregular electrical movements in the brain.
The mode of action of Clobium 10 mg tablet is by increasing the action of a chemical messenger, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), at the GABA A receptor, which subdues the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. It also has an agent that controls seizures or anti-panic effects. It improves the activity of GABA and suppresses the spike and waves discharge in the absence of seizures. This decreases the frequency, amplitude, and duration of minor motor seizures and controls the onset of seizures in epileptic patients. Clobium 10 tablets calm the nerve cells and help in reducing anxiety and inducing sleep.
Side effects of Clobium 10 mg tablets include depression, dizziness, drowsiness, impaired coordination, and memory impairment. The doctor's directions for use of Clobium 10 mg tablets should be strictly followed. It is advisable to consume the tablet with lukewarm water on an empty stomach. Users with a history of depression or mental illness should inform their doctor at the time of prescription....
