Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Cipcal XT Tablet works by providing calcium, vitamin D3, and zinc, which together help keep your bones strong and healthy. Calcium builds and maintains bones, vitamin D3 helps your body absorb calcium more effectively, and zinc supports bone repair and overall strength. This combination makes the tablet useful in preventing weakness, bone loss, and conditions like osteoporosis.

Ingredients and Benefits

  • Cipcal Xt tablet contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), calcium, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), L-methyl folate calcium, and pyridoxine (vitamin B6).
  • Vitamin D3: It plays a very crucial role in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine, which is critical for the formation, growth and regeneration of bones. It supports healthy bones, joints and teeth.
  • Calcium: It is essential for building and maintaining healthy bones and teeth. It is very important for maintaining the balance of breaking down and building up bones. It supports flexible movements and the mobility of muscles and bones. It also plays a crucial role in nerve transmission, muscle function, cellular signalling and hormone secretion.
  • Vitamin B12 or Methylcobalamin: It is essential for the functioning of the brain and the nerves. It also plays a role in the proper functioning of osteoblasts, bone-building cells of the body, by maintaining a balance of two important amino acids, homocysteine and methylmalonic acid.
  • L-methylfolate calcium is an alternative source of folic acid, an essential vitamin that plays a crucial role in DNA synthesis and the production of amino acids. It regulates the metabolism of the amino acid homocysteine; elevated levels of this amino acid are associated with the development of osteoporosis and an increased risk of fractures.
  • Pyridoxine, also known as vitamin B6, is a crucial component for various reactions and acts as a coenzyme in the body. It has a role in bone coupling reactions and the calcification of bones. Thus, an adequate supply is essential for bone formation and regeneration.
