Calpol Paediatric drops contain paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen as its active ingredient. It is an analgesic and an antipyretic (reduce fever) medicine. Calpol drops are used to provide symptomatic relief from fever and pain in children.
Paracetamol inhibits the release of the chemical substance called prostaglandins, responsible for controlling the body temperature. This medicine is meant to be used only in children. Shake the bottle well before use. Give Calpol drops as prescribed and for the exact prescribed duration to your child.

- Calpol Paed drops is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for reducing fever and relieving pain like toothache, muscle ache, etc.
- This medicine should not be used for treating any other condition unless specified by the doctor.
- Give this medicine to the child or baby exactly as recommended by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose.
- Keep a gap of at least 4 hours between one dose and the next. Do not take more than four doses in any 24-hour period.
- Shake well before use. Use a dropper or measuring cup for the exact quantity.
- Calpol Paed drops should be given to a child under an adult's supervision only. Also, inform your doctor about all other medicines that your child takes and their complete medical history.
- Inform your doctor if your child experiences any side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, or rash after using Calpol Paed drops.
- Do not use any other paracetamol-containing products while using Calpol Paed drops.
