- Monoamine oxidase inhibitor therapy

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml should not be taken with antihypertensives and cardiac glycosides such as timolol ophthalmic. Combining these drugs may reduce blood pressure.
- Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml should not be taken with tricyclic antidepressants. Combining these medications can impact the uptake and metabolism of circulating amines.
- Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml should not be taken with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors. MAO inhibitors may theoretically interact with brimonidine metabolism when combining these medications, thereby increasing systemic adverse effects, including hypotension.
- Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml should not be taken with some diuretics such as furosemide. Furosemide may be absorbed into the system after consuming Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml, causing cardiovascular adverse effects such as decreased heart rate and blood pressure.
- Brimosun P Eye Drops 5ml should not be taken with some antihistamines such as cetirizine. Combining these medications can cause difficulty concentrating, dizziness, and drowsiness.
