• If you have a known hypersensitivity or severe allergic reaction to bortezomib, boron, or any of the inactive excipients.
• If you have acute infiltrative disease affecting the lungs or the sac around the heart (pericardium)

• Peripheral neuropathy (numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness in the hands and feet)
• Fatigue, asthenia (weakness), and malaise
• Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and decreased appetite)

• Hypotension (low blood pressure) or dizziness when standing
• Difficulty sleeping and anxiety

• Severe peripheral neuropathy: worsening numbness, tingling, burning pain, or weakness.
• Severe blood-count changes: fever, signs of infection, unusual bruising, or bleeding.
• Heart problems: chest pain, shortness of breath, leg swelling, or an irregular heartbeat.
• Lung problems: new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulty.
• Serious neurological problems: severe headache, confusion, vision changes, seizures, or other new neurological symptoms.
• Severe gastrointestinal problems: persistent or severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or other significant gastrointestinal symptoms.

Other General Warnings

• You notice new or worsening numbness, tingling, or pain in your hands and feet (signs of peripheral neuropathy).
• You experience sudden shortness of breath, cough, or breathing difficulties, which require urgent evaluation for lung inflammation.
• You develop signs of infection, fever, or unusual bruising and bleeding.
• You experience symptoms of heart problems, such as leg swelling or irregular heartbeats.
• You have significant dizziness or fainting.

• Bortenat powder for injection is always prepared and administered by a trained healthcare professional as an intravenous or subcutaneous injection in a hospital or clinic.
• Do not attempt to self-administer or prepare this medication at home.
• Your doctor may prescribe antiviral treatment during therapy to reduce the risk of herpes zoster reactivation.
• Keep all scheduled appointments for your treatment cycles, blood tests, and clinical evaluations.

• Store the medicine according to the product labelling.
• Protect the product from light as specified on the packaging.
• Prepare, store, and use reconstituted medicine according to the product instructions.
• Healthcare professionals should dispose of vials, syringes, and administration equipment according to applicable biomedical-waste procedures.
