Barbit 60 mg is a prescription medication used for treating seizure disorders. It is composed of phenobarbital 60 mg. It is an antiepileptic medicine, which belongs to a group of medicines called barbiturates. Seizures are caused when sudden, abnormal and uncontrolled electrical activity occurs in the brain. It can change your behaviour and levels of consciousness. Barbit tablets reduce these activities in the brain and the symptoms of seizures. This medicine can have certain side effects like drowsiness, sexual dysfunction, etc.
