Medical Description
Backtiklin DT tablet is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, sinuses, ears, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. Its active ingredient is cefpodoxime proxetil, which stops susceptible bacteria from building the protective cell wall they need to survive. Backtiklin DT tablet is taken by mouth and should be used only for an infection diagnosed or considered likely by a doctor. It does not treat colds or flu caused by viruses.
