Aztofa Tablet is used to treat an inflammatory disease called rheumatoid arthritis in adults. The active substance of this Tablet is tofacitinib. Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term disease that main

Take this medicine in the same dose and duration as suggested by your doctor. It would be best if you take a Aztofa Tablet at the same time every day to gain maximum benefits. Inform your doctor if you have a severe infection, liver problems, allergy to tofacitinib, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Aztofa Tablets are used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in adults.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to tofacitinib or any other ingredient of the Aztofa Tablet.
- If you have tuberculosis (TB), serious infections such as sepsis, or opportunistic infections (infections that occur more frequently and more severely in people with a weak immune system).
- If you have any kind of liver disease.
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

- You are planning to get vaccinated soon.

Directions for Use
- Take this medicine as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

- Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Aztofa Tablet when given along with ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, nefazodone, telithromycin increases the level of Aztofa Tablet in the body.
- Aztofa Tablet when given along with rifampicin decreases the level of Aztofa Tablet in the body.
- Care should be taken when the Aztofa Tablet is administered along with medicines like fluconazole, tacrolimus, and cyclosporine.
Storage and disposal
- Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep away from children and pets.

Overdose
Symptoms of overdose of Aztofa Tablet include headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
You should never miss your dose of medicines. However, if you missed any dose of the medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one....
