Aziderm Cream is a topical medicine used to treat acne. It contains azelaic acid as its active ingredient. This medicine has antibacterial actions and it also reduces swelling, redness and inflammation on skin. Acne is a common skin problem most of us experience. To reduce the spread of acne, you should incorporate basic skin hygiene into your routine. Clean your face gently with a mild soap/facewash, limit the use of oil-based or greasy cosmetics and avoid rubbing, scratching, or squeezing pimples. Can I use Aziderm Cream during pregnancy?

This medicine is to be applied on topical surfaces and the quantities which might get absorbed from the skin is too little and there are rare chances of absorption. Still, this medicine should be used with caution and only under medical supervision.

Breast Feeding

Can I use Aziderm Cream while breastfeeding?

There is limited information on the use of this medicine during breastfeeding. Hence, it is recommended to be cautious while breastfeeding. It should not be applied to the breast of breastfeeding mothers or on large areas of skin or for a prolonged period of time.

Driving

Can I drive if I have applied Aziderm Cream?

You experience excessive irritation and burning of the skin after the application of Aziderm Cream.
In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

Hands should be washed after each application of Aziderm Cream.

Use Aziderm Cream as directed by your doctor.
Wash the affected area with water and mild soap and pat it dry.
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin.
Do not use this medicine in or around the eyes, lips or inside of the nose.
In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
