Augmentin DDS suspension is an antibiotic medicine used for the treatment of various bacterial infections such as infection of the lungs, airways, ears, urinary tract, skin, bone, joints, soft tissue and tooth. It contains a combination of two medicines Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid and belongs to the class of penicillin antibiotics. This medicine is used in children. Please inform your doctor if your child is allergic to antibiotics or has experienced any allergic reactions after taking antibiotics.

Treatment of infections caused by bacteria such as sinus infection, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infection, bone, tooth and joint infections.

Contraindications of AUGMENTIN DDS SUSPENSION 30ML

If your child is allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If your child has a history of severe allergic reactions to any other antibiotic like cephalosporins, monobactam, carbapenem.
If your child had liver problems & jaundice with this medicine before.

Directions for Use of AUGMENTIN DDS SUSPENSION 30ML

Take this medicine as directed by your doctor.
Read the label carefully before using this medication.
For reconstitution:
Boil and cool the water.
Add the water slightly below the mark on the bottle.
Shake it well and make the volume up to the given mark on the bottle.
A reconstituted solution should be used within the duration mentioned on the bottle.

Storage and disposal of AUGMENTIN DDS SUSPENSION 30ML

Store this medicine at or below 25°C in the original packaging to protect it from catching moisture.
