In disorders such as schizophrenia, chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) in the brain called dopamine and serotonin are elevated. Aripiprazole in Arifine decreases the symptoms of schizophrenia by preventing the overactivity of dopamine. It also acts on serotonin receptors, which produces anti-depressant effects.
