Andractim gel contains a synthetic hormone, dihydrotestosterone, used to treat hormone deficiencies in children. Topical application of this gel can help correct deficiencies by delivering dihydrotestosterone directly to the affected area. After washing, spread the gel evenly over the required skin area, let it dry for about five minutes, and then cover it with clothing. It's important to wear gloves during application and to avoid applying the gel to broken skin.
Rare side effects may occur if the androgen dose is too high, such as mood swings, weight gain, excessive energy, or acne. Store the gel at room temperature, away from heat and light, and return any unused gel to the pharmacist if treatment is discontinued. Parents are advised to keep it out of their children's reach and consult their healthcare provider with any concerns.
Keep Andractim at room temperature, away from bright light or direct sunlight and from heat. Do not store in the fridge.
