Medical Description
Amlopres-AT is a medication used to treat high blood pressure and chest pain (angina). It combines amlodipine and atenolol to lower blood pressure, heart rate, and the force of your heartbeat. People with kidney or liver problems and the elderly should use this medication with caution. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor, as uncontrolled high blood pressure can have serious consequences. Inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions, especially if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
A combination of atenolol and amlodipine as active substances is also present in the following tablets: Amlokind AT tablet, Amodep AT, Amlovas AT 50 and Amlopres AT 50.
