Amlip 5 MG Description
Amlip 5 mg tablet is used for certain heart-related disorders and high blood pressure. It contains amlodipine, which belongs to the class of medications called calcium channel blockers. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of liver impairment due to an increased risk of severe adverse effects. This medicine should be used cautiously in the elderly. Amlip 5 should not be used by women who are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Side effects like weakness, dizziness, stomach ache, indigestion can be experienced while using Amlip 5. Amlip 5 mg tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and a type of chest pain (Angina).
Contraindications of Amlip 5 MG
- If you are allergic to this amlodipine or any other ingredients of Amlip 5.
- If you have low blood pressure.
- If you have an abnormal narrowing of the aorta heart valve (Aortic stenosis).
- If you are suffering from a condition where your heart is unable to supply blood to your body (Cardiogenic Shock).
- If you are suffering from heart failure after a heart attack.
