Amicline Plus Tablet 50 Description

Amicline Plus Tablet is a combination medicine that contains diloxanide and ornidazole as its active components. It belongs to the class of medicines called Anti-amoebic and Anti-diarrhoeal respectiv

ely. It is used in the treatment of intestinal and extra-intestinal infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica. It is also used in the treatment of protozoal infections such as giardiasis caused by Giardia lambia. Amicline Plus Tablet works by killing these micro-organisms that are responsible for the infection. It should not be used for children, pregnant and nursing women without consulting a physician. Take it in the recommended dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor for optimal benefits. You may experience abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, headache as common side effects of this medicine, these are temporary and usually go away on their own. If these symptoms do not resolve or worsen, consult with your doctor.

It is used to treat diarrhoea, dysentery (intestinal or extra-intestinal amoebiasis). It is also used in the treatment of protozoal infections such as giardiasis, trichomoniasis, etc.
