How Does It Work?
- Ornidazole inhibits the growth of protozoa by interacting with the DNA of the micro-organism and inhibiting the protein synthesis, thereby leading to the death of the micro-organism.
- Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide, works by killing the infection-causing organisms in the intestine.

- Sometimes Amicline Plus Tablet may affect the way other medicines work and other medicines may affect how Amicline Plus Tablet works if taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interactions.
- Especially, if you are on certain medications like blood thinners (such as warfarin) or muscle relaxants, antiepileptic medicines like phenytoin, antacids like cimetidine, etc.
- Other medicines that should be used with caution are anti-depressants like lithium, selegeline, etc.
