Aliclair 500 MG Description
Aliclair Tablet is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat infections of the lower respiratory tract (bronchitis, pneumonia), upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, pharyngitis), skin and soft tissu
e (folliculitis, cellulitis, erysipelas) and ulcers caused by H.pylori in adults and children above 12 years of age. Aliclair Tablet contains clarithromycin as the active substance. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Always complete the entire course of antibiotics prescribed by your doctor even if you start feeling better. Before using Aliclair Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements that you take.

- If you are allergic to clarithromycin, macrolide antibiotics or any other ingredient of Aliclair Tablet.
- If you are taking medicines called ergot alkaloids (used for the management of migraine) oral midazolam (used to produce relaxation), astemizole or terfenadine (anti-allergics), cisapride (used for managing heartburn), pimozide (used for mental health disorders), lomitapide or statins (used to manage abnormal cholesterol levels), ticagrelor (helps to prevent blood clot formation), ranolazine (used for management of heart-related chest pain) or colchicine (used for treating gout). - You have a history of heart rhythm disorders.
- You have low levels of potassium or magnesium in the blood.
- You have liver disease along with kidney disease.

- You have kidney or liver disorders.

- You are taking a medicine called colchicine for the management of gout, medicines for managing trouble in sleeping (triazolam), or medicines for relaxation (midazolam). If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor....
- You have a blockage in the blood vessels that carry blood to the heart.
- Your heart is not able to pump blood properly.
- You have a lower-than-normal heart rate.

- You are taking medicines for managing abnormal cholesterol levels or high blood sugar.
- You are taking oral anticoagulants like dabigatran.
