Triclosan reduces the thyroid concentrations, which is essential for unborn baby development during pregnancy. Hence do not use this medicine unless considered necessary by your physician. During pregnancy, if you are using any topical preparation containing Triclosan consult with your doctor.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Triclosan while breastfeeding?
It is unknown if Triclosan passes into breast milk. You should not take this medicine if you are breastfeeding. Avoid applying this medicine near the area of the breast, as it may be harmful in the development of baby.


Can I drive if I have consumed Triclosan?
No influence on ability to drive.


Can I consume alcohol with Triclosan?
