How Does It Work?
It works by increasing the amount of glucose that the tissues absorb and by decreasing the amount of glucose manufactured by the liver.

- Medicines for high blood pressure or angina like beta-blockers

- Medicines for depression like monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors
- Medicines for some heart problems or high blood pressure like ACE inhibitors or Thiazides
- Medicine for thyroid
- Medicines for asthma, like Salbutamol or Terbutaline

Overdose
