Uses of Zoryl 2mg Tab 15`S

Zoryl 2mg Tab 15`S composition mainly includes glimepiride, which is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

Contraindications of Zoryl 2mg Tab 15`S

  • Type 1 diabetes patients
  • Patients allergic to glimepiride or other sulfonylureas
  • Patients suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis (a complication of diabetes)
  • Patients with severe kidney or liver disease

  • Low blood cell or platelet count
  • Syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH), which can lead to low sodium levels in the blood.

Steroids, diuretics, oestrogens, hormonal contraceptives (i.e., birth control pills), or thyroid supplements (e.g., levothyroxine) may decrease the medicine's effectiveness, resulting in high sugar levels.
