• Zolpinite 10 mg tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of insomnia

• Zolpinite is contraindicated if:
• You are allergic or hypersensitive to Zolpidem
• You suffer from a breathing problem
• You have a muscular disorder (myasthenia gravis)
• You have a severe liver disorder
• You are under 18 years of age

• Side effects of Zolpinite 10 mg tablet include:
• Drowsiness
• Tiredness
• Dizziness
• Lightheadedness
• Difficulty in maintaining balance
• Nausea
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Change in appetite
• Weird dreams
• Dry mouth

Other General Warnings

• You have a history of kidney, liver, heart disorders.
• You or your family member has a history of mental illness like depression or other mental illness.
• You have suicidal thoughts after taking the Zolpinite tablet
• You are currently taking any medicine, vitamins or supplements, even if it is ayurvedic or any other category.
• You want to drive or operate any heavy machinery after taking a Zolpinite tablet.
• You want to stop or alter the dose of the Zolpinite tablet. Kindly do not discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor.
• You have withdrawal symptoms like lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, tremors, sweating, flushing, etc.
• You have formed a habit and feel the urge to take the medicine beyond the dose.
• You have an allergic reaction and are having hives, skin rash, swollen tongue, etc., after taking the Zolpinite tablet.
• You notice that you have been waking up and indulging in any activity at night, which you tend to forget the next day.

• Take Zolpinite tablet as per doctor’s recommendation. It is generally prescribed for a shorter duration, around 7-14 days.
• Take Zolpinite tablets with or without food. It should not be taken with a high-fat diet as it can decrease the absorption of Zolpinite, therefore decreasing its efficacy.
• Take Zolpinite tablets as per the proper routine and timings of taking medicine. It is usually taken half an hour before sleeping time.
• Usually, a 10 mg dose is recommended in men and 5 mg in women.
• Do not take a Zolpinite tablet without consulting the doctor.
• Consume the medicine orally with water. Zolpinite tablets should not be manipulated in any way by either crushing or breaking them.
• Avoid the consumption of alcohol and caffeinated beverages while taking Zolpinite tablets.

Interactions with other medicines

• Zolpinite tablets interact with Ketoconazole (antifungal) and Erythromycin (antibiotic), which can reduce the metabolism of Zolpidem.
• Rifampicin (antibiotic) can reduce the efficacy of Zolpidem.
• Codeine (given in cough), Clonazepam (given in seizures) can increase the depressive action on the nervous system.
• Acetaminophen (painkiller ) can increase the metabolism of Zolpidem.
• Chlorpromazine (antipsychotic) can increase the risk of severity of side effects.

Interactions with food items

• Zolpinite is not known to interact with any particular food item.
