Votrient tablet is used in adults to treat advanced kidney cancer. It is also prescribed for certain soft-tissue sarcomas, which are cancers that develop in supportive tissues, such as muscles, fat, and blood vessels. Your healthcare provider will conduct blood tests to monitor your liver function before and during Votrient tablet treatment. Votrient tablet is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, liver, or kidney problems, or if you are currently using any medications to treat infections. Many other drugs can interact with this medication, so it's essential to inform your healthcare team about all the medications you are taking.
