T Bact 2 % Description
T-Bact 2% ointment is an antibiotic medicine meant for topical use. It contains mupirocin as its active ingredient. T Bact ointment is used to treat bacterial skin infections, impetigo and other bacterial infection of the skin.
Impetigo is a condition caused by bacteria. It is characterised by red or pimple-like sores surrounded by red skin. They usually occur on the face, arms, and legs, but they can be anywhere on the skin. T Bact ointment works by interfering with the growth of bacterial cells and preventing infection.
Mupimet 2% ointment, T Muce ointment, Mupi XL ointment, B Muce 2% ointment and M Sys ointment are some other medications containing mupirocin.
T-Bact 2% ointment helps relieve symptoms such as rashes, swelling, redness, pain, pus, and itching commonly associated with a skin infection. Your doctor will decide the dose, frequency, and duration of treatment with the T Bact ointment after assessing your condition. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than your doctor prescribes.
