T Bact 2 % Description

T-Bact 2% ointment is an antibiotic medicine meant for topical use. It contains mupirocin as its active ingredient. T Bact ointment is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections, impetigo and other bacterial infection of the skin.

Impetigo is a condition caused by bacteria. It is characterised by red or pimple-like sores surrounded by red skin. Usually, they occur on your face, arms and legs, but they can be anywhere on your skin. T Bact ointment works by interfering with the growth of bacterial cells and preventing infection.

Mupimet 2% ointment, T Muce ointment, Mupi XL ointment, B Muce 2% ointment and M Sys ointment are some other medications containing mupirocin. T-Bact 2% ointment helps in relieving symptoms such as rashes, swelling, redness, pain, pus and itching that are commonly associated with a skin infection. The dose, frequency and duration of the treatment with the T Bact ointment will be decided by your doctor after assessing your condition. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
