Vokanamet tablet is used for treating Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults along with diet and lifestyle modifications.
Contraindications
- If you have a known allergy to any of the components of this medicine
- If you have severe kidney problems (renal impairment)
- If you have liver disease or liver failure (hepatic impairment)
- If you have uncontrolled diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, or are in a diabetic pre-coma state
- If you have a severe acute medical condition, serious infection, or systemic infection
- If you are severely dehydrated
- If you have serious heart or circulatory disorders, including a recent heart attack (myocardial infarction)
- If you consume alcohol excessively
- If you have significant organ impairment

Other General Warnings

- You develop symptoms of genital yeast infections or urinary tract infections.
- You are an elderly patient, as you may require more frequent monitoring of kidney function.
