Medical Description
Voglinorm Gm tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is a combination of metformin, glimepiride and voglibose as active ingredients. Do not miss any dose or abruptly stop taking this tablet without informing your doctor. Patients are advised to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect.
To prevent low blood glucose levels, it's important to have regular meals, carry a fast-acting source of glucose, and avoid alcohol. It is also advised to always keep candy or chocolate with them while going out in case they suddenly feel symptoms of low blood sugar levels like dizziness, irritability, hunger pangs, and sweating.
The most common side effects of Voglinorm Gm tablet include low blood glucose levels (hypoglycemia), taste changes, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, oedema (swelling), blurred vision, bone fracture, and upper respiratory tract infection. Some people may also experience weight gain.
