• If you are allergic to any of the components of the Vodacof tablet.
• If you are suffering from high blood pressure.

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Dry mouth
• Palpitations

Other General Warnings

• You have any pre-existing medical conditions such as liver/kidney related disease, heart problem, thyroid, hypertension, fits, etc.
• You are suffering from an eye condition called glaucoma.
• You are taking any psychiatric medicines.

• Vodacof tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Vodacof tablets in a cool and dry place away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

How Does It Work?

• Paracetamol works by inhibiting the release of certain chemicals responsible for pain and increased body temperature in the body.
• Guaifenesin works by thinning the phlegm/mucous in the throat. Thus, relieving symptoms of cough.
• Bromhexine works by reducing the thickness of mucous and enabling it to be expulsed out by cough.
• Phenylephrine shrinks or constricts the blood vessels in the nasal passage and improves congestion.
• Chlorpheniramine maleate controls the symptoms of allergy or cold-like itchiness, runny nose, sneezing by blocking the release of certain chemicals (histamines) within the body.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Vodacof tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially, if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems or are taking blood thinners, painkillers, water pills or anti-sickness medicines.
