Medical Description
Vinglyn M Tablet is a medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes, a condition where your body cannot properly use insulin. It contains two active ingredients, vildagliptin and metformin, that work together to control blood sugar levels. Vildagliptin helps your body produce more insulin when needed, while metformin lowers sugar production in the liver and improves your body’s response to insulin.
This medicine is usually prescribed when diet, exercise, and either vildagliptin or metformin alone are not enough to control diabetes. It is important to take Vinglyn M Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor to get the best results. Do not stop taking it suddenly or change your dose on your own, as this may cause your blood sugar levels to rise again.
Vinglyn M Tablet is meant for adults and should not be given to children under 18 years of age. If you have type 1 diabetes or are allergic to any of its ingredients, this medicine is not suitable for you. Always tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems, before starting the medicine.
Some people may experience mild side effects such as nausea, stomach upset, headache, or tiredness while taking this medicine. These usually go away with time. However, if you notice symptoms such as breathing difficulty, swelling, or severe weakness, contact your doctor immediately.
Along with taking Vinglyn M Tablet, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important. Eat a balanced diet, stay physically active, and check your blood sugar regularly. By following your doctor’s advice, you can prevent long-term complications like nerve damage, kidney problems, and poor vision, and keep your diabetes well under control.
