How Does It Work?
Vilitra 20mg is a medicine that comes under the classification of urological drugs. These are the drugs used in erectile dysfunction. Cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) specific inhibitor phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) has a selective and potent inhibitor called vardenafil. It inhibits PDE5 in the corpus cavernosum, where endogenously releases nitric oxide. When the PDE5 is inhibited, the effect of nitric oxide increases, which is responsible for the flow of blood to cause erection in the penis.
When nitric oxide is released, there is an increase in cGMP, which causes blood to flow to the penis to cause an erection. The interactions between all of these occur in the corpus cavernosum, the erectile tissue in the penis.
It is also to note that nitric oxide is only released when there is sexual stimulation, so if there is no sexual stimulation, the activity of the vardenafil doesn’t account to cause an erectile. Vardenafil is the active ingredient of the medicine vilitra 20mg....
