Medical Description
Vasoglor 60 Tablet is a medicine that helps reduce the risk of heart problems, such as heart attacks or heart failure, in people who already have heart-related conditions. It contains ticagrelor as its active ingredient, a medicine in the antiplatelet (blood thinner) class. These medicines work by preventing the blood from forming harmful clots, allowing blood to flow more freely through the blood vessels.
Your doctor may prescribe Vasoglor 60 Tablet if you have had a previous heart attack, stent placement, or other heart conditions that increase your risk of clot formation. Taking this medicine regularly as prescribed helps reduce the chances of another heart-related event. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor, as this can increase your risk of blood clots.
You should take Vasoglor 60 Tablet exactly as your doctor tells you, usually at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food, but try to follow a consistent routine. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s nearly time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses at once.
While taking this medicine, you may notice side effects such as bleeding, easy bruising, shortness of breath, or mild headaches. These are common, but if you experience severe or uncontrolled bleeding, black stools, or unexplained weakness, seek medical help immediately.
Avoid using sharp objects like knives or scissors carelessly while on this medicine, as it may increase your risk of bleeding. Let your doctor know if you are scheduled for surgery or dental procedures, as they may need to adjust your medication for safety.
