• Anxiety
• Anxiety associated with depression
• Panic disorder
• Generalised anxiety disorder

• If you are allergic to Alprazolam or other ingredients in the Trika 0.5mg tablets.
• If you are taking antifungal medicines (ketoconazole or itraconazole) by mouth.
• If you are taking CNS depressant medicines like benzodiazepines or opioids.
• If you have severe liver disease.
• If you have sleep apnea.
• If you have severe lung disease.

• Common side effects
• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Lack of movement coordination
• Speech disturbance
• Tiredness or fatigue
• Headache
• Memory impairment
• Confusion
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Vomiting or nausea
• Increased or decreased appetite
• Weight gain or loss
• Blurred vision
• Urinary difficulty
• Heart rate increase
• Chest pain
• Severe side effects
• Mania: A state of increased nervous system activity may occur with Trika tablets.
• Insomnia and Seizures: Trika tablets can cause physical and psychological dependence. Severe withdrawal symptoms, including insomnia and seizures, may occur if Trika tablets are stopped suddenly.
• Life-threatening effects: The combined use of Trika tablets with other nervous system depressants may cause severe drowsiness, respiratory depression, coma, and death.
• Note- Like with any other medicine, you may develop any other side effects not mentioned in the above list after taking Trika tablets. You should talk to your doctor if you develop any side effects after taking Trika tablets.

Other General Warnings

• You need it for a kid. Trika 0.5 mg tablets are not recommended for children.
• You are elderly. Lower doses of Trika tablets may be needed in older adults.
• You are taking other medications. Talk to your doctor about the medicines you are taking.
• You have been treated for psychological problems or substance abuse in the past.
• You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

• Take the tablet as advised by the doctor.
• Keep the timing and the dosage of the medicine as is recommended in the prescription.
• Take the tablet as a whole without splitting or crushing, and swallow it with water.
• Take the tablet out of the strip at the time of having it.
• Check the expiry date on the strip of tablets before starting the course of medication.
• The interval between the two doses of Trika should be as advised.
• You should not stop the medicine without discussing it with your doctor.
• Inform your family members about the possible adverse effects and whom to contact in case of an overdose.
